del.icio.us (Inactive)

One of those new-fangled social bookmarking sites. It was supposed to be portable, but it turned out to be occasionally unreliable, so I switched to the most portable and reliable bookmark storage device I know of: my memory. In the last year, the only URL I’ve been unable to memorize is the one with arbitrary sub-domains: http://del.icio.us/.

eBay

An auction website. I used it when I was poor to buy second-hand rich stuff. Now that I’m comparatively rich, I usually suffice with poor stuff.

Google

A website and a company grown too large to be concisely explained.

icalx (Inactive)

A calendar exchange site. I highly reccomend it, but I decided to temporarily stop sharing my calendar.

Project management software used primarily by the Ubuntu development team. Note: integrated with other Ubuntu websites; see Ubuntu Wiki below.

LibraryThing

A record of all the books I’ve ever read (and remembered well enough to enter). I recommend it — as proof, know that I purchased a lifetime membership.

Linux.com

A free software news site to which I ocassionally contribute. Even more ocassionally, I comment.

  • No, I don’t want donations.

RememberTheMilk (Inactive)

An AJAX todo list website. Quite nice, but it ran too slow on my ASUS EeePC and now I use (and love!) todo.sh.
